Reacts with the ß-chain of luteinizing hormone. By radioimmunoassay, this antibody was determined to be 100% reactive with hLH, 1.5% with hCG, 0.44% with hFSH and less than 1.0% with hTSH. The antibody labels gonadotrophic cells of the pituitary. Results aid in the classification of pituitary adenomas.
