Liquid Permanent Red (LPR) Substrate-Chromogen offers ease of use and is intended for use in immunohistochemical and in situ hybridization staining methods where alkaline phosphatase is the enzyme label. LPR forms a permanent red reaction product at the site of the target antigen or nucleic acid, which can be visualized with standard optical light microscopy or fluorescence microscopy using Texas Red or Rhodamine filters (1).
