Helping Reduce Vitamin C Interference

Vitamin C, or ascorbic acid, can be present at increased concentrations in urine following dietary intake or supplementation. This is clinically relevant because high urinary ascorbic acid can interfere with some conventional urine dipsticks, potentially producing reduced or false-negative glucose and blood results.
