Why Oral fluid testing?

• No restroom required, or blueing agent for toilets etc. Test can be performed almost anywhere. Ideal for onsite testing.
• An oral fluid collection can be performed with the donor under continuous supervision and observation of the collector (or employer), which essentially eliminates donor ability to tamper with the specimen.
• Oral fluids have a short detection window. Depending on the substance ingested, oral fluid can detect more recent use than is the case with urine. They therefore may be more suitable for identifying people “under the influence”. This short detection window of a drug in oral fluid samples makes it particularly suitable for reasonable suspicion testing and post-incident testing.
• Removes concerns with “Shy bladder” or waiting for urine sample
• A nicer, less “icky” test for the administrator to conduct and observe.
